Joseph L. Piernock joined CDS in Spring, 2006. In addition to traditional business valuation, Joe tackles those projects that require advanced business or computer analysis. He also leads our research into Title market fundamentals. Before CDS, Joe spent twenty years with ARCO where he conducted dozens of large, complex “buy” and “sell” valuations. The total value of these analyses totaled many billions of dollars and involved all sorts of industries and jurisdictions. Joe also held positions in marketing, finance, business development, manufacturing, governmental affairs, and engineering which explains his “all business” approach to valuation.

Joe holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Engineering from Carnegie Mellon, and a BS in Engineering from Villanova.

Lawrence E. Kirwin Linkedin

Lawrence E. Kirwin has an in depth background in closely held corporate valuations and acquisition work. He has provided business valuations for title insurance-related firms for over thirty years. Prior to forming CDS, he was Vice President—Corporate Development, for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and led its nationwide expansion program. Mr. Kirwin was formerly a security analyst with a member firm of the New York Stock Exchange, Vice President of Finance for Iroquois Industries and managed corporate development for National Gypsum Company.

Larry holds a Law Degree from the University of the State of New York and a Finance Degree from Villanova University.
